Neighborhood StoresMany stores in Westchester County and the New York City metropolitan area sell MetroCards. To find a vendor in Westchester, use our new interactive map to search by address or zip code. Visit the MTA's MetroCard merchant locator list for vendors outside of Westchester County.

Insert your MetroCard or bus transfer into the MetroCard fare machine associated with the route you are transferring to. You will be issued a new Select Bus Service ticket as proof of payment, which you should hold on to throughout your ride. Please note that the ticket from the first route will not be valid on the second as tickets are specific to each SBS route.

Note: 'single journey' includes connections between the same types of vehicle (i.e. if you were using the tram you would remain on the tram system), as long as you do not 'exit' the transport system. You are allowed up to two hours for metro and RER after validation and 90 minutes for buses and trams.

The cardboard t+ ticket packs of 10 are being replaced. From October 2021 there will be a slow phasing out of this ticket type. The reasoning is that these types of tickets often get lost, so not all the tickets are used as one is put away somewhere and lost. The cardboard magnetic strip gets easily demagnitised and can no longer work and there are better electronic solutions now available. You will still be able to use any you already have, but buying them will gradually become more difficult until March 2022 when they will no longer be sold at all.

B) WhatsApp: Save the BMRCL's official WhatsApp chatbot number 810 555 66 77 and send 'Hi' to it to buy QR tickets or recharge metro travel passes. After choosing the travel details, you can pay via the WhatsApp payment option by authenticating the transaction with the UPI PIN.

Travellers can buy the QR ticket on the Namma Metro app or WhatsApp by specifying the entry and destination stations on the day of the journey. The QR tickets should be scanned by the QR readers of the automatic gates at both source/destination stations.

Under the journey planner option, travellers can locate the nearest metro station (based on their current location), get train departure timings at different stations and obtain fare details between any two stations.

There are two train stations at CDG Airport. Both CDG train stations sell Navigo passes & train tickets. In CDG Terminal 2, the train station is between sub-terminals 2C and 2E. (See the step-by-step guide for CDG Terminal 2 trains to Paris.) If you arrive at CDG Terminal 1 or CDG Terminal 3 the closest CDG train station is in the Roissypole building. The Roissypole building is midway between CDG Terminal 1 and CDG Terminal 2, and is a 5 minute walk from Terminal 3, as seen on this CDG shuttle train map (CDGVAL):

Below is a photo of a combined Paris Metro, RER, Transilien Regional ticket window. These ticket windows are found at major Paris train stations like Gare du Nord. These ticket windows are where you can buy Navigo passes, Navigo Easy, Paris Visite, single-use RER tickets, bus tickets, Metro tickets and every other type of Paris regional transit ticket:

If you plan on arriving Friday through Sunday, consider buying a carnet of single-use Paris transit tickets (book of ten or twenty) that are good for the entire Paris Metro system and any trains/trams/buses in zone 1, or day passes called Ticket Mobilis. Another option is to buy a Paris Visite card, which is really just a more expensive Mobilis ticket that can be used for a set period of days, starting from whenever you first place the ticket into a turnstile machine. The Paris Visite cards are good for 1, 2, 3 or 5 days and for either zones 1 to 3 or all five zones.

Public transport in Rome is well-connected to all parts of the city. Tickets for the metro/subway, tram, and bus are interchangeable, and you can buy them at one of the stations, at a news kiosk, at a Tabbacchi, on an app, take a ride using Roma Pass or purchase a monthly or yearly pass.

Since the ticket used on the metro is the same used for buses, you can easily buy a ticket at a metro station. The feature is that there are self-service ticket machines where you have to choose which kind of ticket you want.

You can also buy a monthly pass every month in ATAC and its website or tabaccheria, at least, most of them. The price is 35 euro, and the card will allow you to ride local buses, metros, and some regional trains, as well as trams. 041b061a72
